Argos’ Michael Richard, Dylan Kindig and J.J. Morris were all named first-team all-Hoosier Plains Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media last week.
Morris, a 6-5 sophomore forward, led the team in scoring with 13.1 ppg. Richard, a 6-0 junior point guard, averaged 12.1 ppg. Kindig, a 6-4 junior center, averaged 8.8 ppg.
Argos tied Elkhart Christian for the first title in the history of the conference.
In addition, Richard and senior guard Caden Nifong were named to the Academic All-Conference team. A player had to be either a junior or senior and have a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale in order to make the Academic All-Conference team.
