Richard’s big first quarter, Morris’ big 2nd half help Argos win conference opener

Argos 64, South Bend Career Academy 49 (Dec. 16): J.J. Morris scored 23 of his game-high 30 points in the second half for the Argos boys basketball team in a Hoosier Plains road win over South Bend Career Academy on Dec. 16.
Sean Richard added 18 points, including 13 in the first quarter. Nate Manikowski hit a pair of 3-pointers in the third quarter and had 10.
Argos led 24-22 at halftime and extended the lead to 46-35 after three quarters.
Argos beat South Bend Career Academy for the ninth straight year.
Argos improved to 4-2, 1-0 Hoosier Plains. South Bend Career Academy fell to 1-3, 1-1.
