Richard scores career-high 21, but LaVille edges Argos

Boys basketball

LaVille 47, Argos 46 (Dec. 6): Sean Richard scored a career-high 21 points, and J.J. Morris added 12, but the visiting Dragons fell to LaVille at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium on Dec. 6.

Owen Smith and Collin Czarnecki had 10 points each for LaVille.

Argos led 26-25 at halftime and extended the lead to 38-36 after three quarters.

Both teams are 2-2.

The teams have split their last six meetings.

LaVille also won the JV game 49-34. Obi Salary led Argos with 10 points, and Hunter Xaver and Mack Calhoun had eight points each. Corbin Rex had four, and Kyle Penn and Gabe McMillen had two each.
