This is Malchow’s second stint as Rochester coach. Prior to the start of his second stint in 2017, Rochester had six straight losing seasons. They have had three winning seasons in four years since Malchow took over again. … Rochester has not won a regional since the 2009 team was the Class 3A state runner-up.
