Rochester finishes 8th, Valley 10th at JV Invite

Rochester shoots 420, finished 8th at home invite (Saturday): The Rochester JV boys golf team shot a 420 and finished eighth out of 15 complete teams at the Rochester JV Invitational at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek Saturday.

Enrique Navarro led Rochester with a 90 and finished seventh overall in a field of 72 golfers. Brady Morgan added a 102, Adam Reinhold had a 111, Parker Brown had a 117, and Brevin Nicholson had a 121.

Tippecanoe Valley shot a 445 and finished 10th.

Kyzer Hughes was the low Valley scorer with a 101. Remington Rickel had a 110, Evan Bolinger had a 116, Kolton Seaney had a 118, and Noah Mellott had a 126.

Culver Academy won with a 340. Runner-up Northridge shot a 369.

Culver Academy’s Peter Lieu was the medalist with an 81, beating teammate Jak Chaney by two strokes.
