Rochester girls tennis coach Adrian Paulik has resigned.
Rochester went 12-5 in 2025. The season ended with a loss to Culver Academy in the sectional quarterfinals at Culver Academy on May 21.
Paulik’s tenure was highlighted by winning the John Glenn Invitational three consecutive years and wins in back-to-back years over Peru.
Paulik’s replacement must find a whole new singles trio to replace the graduating Ella McCarter, Audrey Bolinger and Rylee Clevenger. Doubles regular Sophie McCall also graduated.
McCarter went undefeated against Three Rivers Conference opponents and was voted first-team all-conference. Clevenger lost one match all season.
Paulik is a 2013 Rochester grad.
Paulik’s resignation was made official at Monday’s Rochester School Board meeting.
Also at the meeting, Colt Meadows was hired as a girls basketball assistant coach, Jacob Howdeshell was hired as a boys basketball assistant coach, and Joe Shaffer and Caden Zeck were brought on as football assistant coaches.
Meadows was a backup guard on the Rochester boys’ 2009 Class 3A state runner-up team.
