Western 48, Rochester 24 (Wednesday): Rilyn Strasser (110), Kyra Doran (130), Lexi Haughs (140) and Laine Peppler (170) all won by fall for the visiting Lady Zs in a loss to Western Wednesday.

Strasser won by fall in 54 seconds. Doran won by fall in 2:57. Haughs won by fall in 2:26. Peppler recorded her fall in 1:25.

Elise Enyart (145) lost by fall.

Rochester won four of the five matches contested. Western won seven matches by forfeit.

Rochester takes 10th at Sarah Hildebrandt Invite (Saturday): Led by 170-pound champion Laine Peppler, the Rochester girls wrestling team scored 64.5 points and finished 10th at the Sarah Hildebrandt Invitational at Penn Saturday.

Peppler went 4-0 on the day.

The other Lady Z to place in the varsity tournament was Makenna McKee, who went 2-2 and finished fourth at 125.

Rilyn Strasser (110), Lilly Gerald (115), Lexi Haughs (140) and Elise Enyart (145) did not place.

Strasser went 0-2, Gerald went 1-0, Haughs went 2-2, and Enyart went 1-2.

Kyra Doran went 2-0 and was the JV champion at 125.

Rochester 36, Peru 18 (Nov. 13): Rilyn Strasser (115), Lilly Gerald (120), Makenna McKee (125), Kyra Doran (130), Elise Enyart (155) and Laine Peppler (170) all won by fall for the host Lady Zs in a dual win over Peru on Nov. 13.

Lexi Haughs (145) lost by fall. Peru’s other 12 points came on forfeits.

Rochester won six of the seven matches contested.
