Clevenger stays undefeated at No. 3 singles

Girls tennis

Rochester 3, Wabash 2 (Wednesday): Ella McCarter, Audrey Bolinger and Rylee Clevenger swept the singles matches for the Lady Zs as they beat visiting Wabash Wednesday.

McCarter and Clevenger won their matches over Abbi Hipskind and Emma Adams by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores at Nos. 1 and 3 singles, respectively.

Bolinger handled Hadley Schuler 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.

Sophie McCall and Emma Murphy won the first set before losing to Bridget Bailey and Amaya Sellers at No. 1 doubles. Abbi St. Martin and Savannah Wolters lost in straight sets to Sophie France and Emma Weaver at No. 2 doubles.

Rochester played without doubles players Vivian Miller and Ellie Straeter, who are attending a soils judging competition in Oklahoma City.

Rochester is 9-2 overall and 3-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.

The Lady Zs will travel to Lewis Cass Monday.
