Rochester’s Hughes signs with St. Francis

Rochester senior Emily Hughes signed with the University of St. Francis to continue her volleyball and academic careers Tuesday.

Hughes led Rochester with 315 kills and 79 blocks. She was second with 52 aces.

She was a first-team all-Three Rivers Conference and first-team all-RTC selection. She was also a member of Rochester teams that won sectional titles in 2019 and 2020.

The University of St. Francis is an NAIA school located in Fort Wayne. They went 6-23 last season.
