Rochester’s Rensberger, Wilson, Miller named to All-TRC softball team

Softball

Rochester freshmen Bria Rensberger and Aubrey Wilson and sophomore Aubrey Miller were named first-team all-Three Rivers Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Tuesday.

In addition, freshman Jadyn Field was named honorable mention all-TRC.

Rensberger went 13-5 with a 1.35 ERA in 19 pitching appearances covering 114 ⅓ innings. She allowed 71 hits and 40 walks while striking out 184. She allowed only one home run.

Rensberger also hit .279 with 10 RBIs.

Wilson, a shortstop, was one of nine infielders selected. She hit .573 with one homer and 26 RBIs. Wilson led the team in RBIs and extra-base hits with 16. No other Lady Z had more than five extra-base hits. Wilson also had 28 stolen bases, which was more than twice as many as any other player on the team.

Miller, who saw time in both right field and left field, was one of seven outfielders selected. She hit .357 with six RBIs and two extra-base hits. She also had 11 stolen bases.

Field, who was Rochester’s primary catcher but also saw time at third base and left field, hit .312 with 19 RBIs.

Of the 36 players recognized, only eight were seniors.
