Rochester’s Wilburn, Flory combine for JV no-hitter at Manchester

Rochester 4, Manchester 2 (JV, Thursday): Linden Wilburn and Brayson Flory combined on a five-inning no-hitter as the visiting JV Zebras won at Manchester Thursday.

They combined for three walks and 10 strikeouts. Wilburn pitched the first 4 ⅓ innings, and Flory got the final two outs in the fifth.

Aiden Wilson had an RBI double in the fourth and later scored on a wild pitch. In the fifth, Mitchell Clark and Flory reached on errors, and both scored when Wilson’s fly ball was dropped for an error.

Flory, Wilson, Alex Chapman and Braylon Smith all had hits for the Zebras (3-4).

The no-hitter came one day after Carson Paulik threw an eight-inning no-hitter in a 2-0 win for the Rochester varsity over Manchester.
