Rochester shoots 338, finishes 2nd in TRC

Riffle, McLochlin, Heishman, Renie all make all-TRC team

The Rochester boys golf team shot a 338 and finished second out of 10 teams at the Three Rivers Conference boys golf tournament at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru Tuesday.

Four Zebras – Noah Riffle, J.R McLochlin, Isaac Heishman and Davis Renie – finished among the top 10 individuals and made the all-conference team.

Riffle and McLochlin each shot 81, and Heishman and Renie each shot 88. Riffle and McLochlin made the all-TRC team for the second time, and Heishman and Renie made it for the first time. Riffle also made it last year as a junior, and McLochlin previously made the team as a sophomore in 2022.

Ashton Musselman shot an 89 and missed the team by one stroke.

Northfield won their third straight conference title with a 333. Northfield’s Tyson Baer shot a 73 to claim medalist honors for the second straight year.

Rochester will play in the Logansport sectional at Dykeman Park Golf Course at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
