Rochester singles players dominate in win over Southwood

Girls tennis
Rochester 3, Southwood 2 (Monday): Ella McCarter, Audrey Bolinger and Rylee Clevenger all won their singles matches in straight sets to lift the Lady Zs past host Southwood Monday.
McCarter, Bolinger and Clevenger lost three games combined in six sets.
McCarter beat Courtney Finney 6-0, 6-0. Bolinger knocked off Lucy Vandermark 6-3, 6-0. Clevenger beat Ava Goodpasture 6-0, 6-0
Emma Murphy and Ellie Straeter lost in straight sets at No. 1 singles. Sophie McCall and Abbi St. Martin fell in straight sets at No. 2 doubles.
Rochester won the JV match 2-1.
Rochester will travel to Maconaquah at 5 p.m. Wednesday for their regular season finale.
The IHSAA draw is at 7 p.m. May 19.
