Culver 38, Winamac 37 (Tuesday): Brianna Schlemmer hit three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 15 points, and Ashlynn Berndt added 11 for Culver as they earned a Hoosier North road win over Winamac Tuesday.

Ava McCune added six points, five rebounds and five assists.

Marissa Iverson led Winamac with 14 points, and Kandace Kroft hit three 3-pointers and had a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds).

Culver led 15-14 at halftime and extended their lead to 27-23 after three quarters.

Culver had lost nine of their previous 10 meetings with Winamac prior to Tuesday.

Both teams are 4-1. Culver is 1-0 conference play while Winamac is 1-1.
