The Rochester swimming teams lost girls and boys meets to host Maconaquah Thursday.
Maconaquah swept all 12 events in the girls meet. Ava Thomas was third in the 200 freestyle, Jenna Seuferer was third in the 500 freestyle, and Kylie Haselby was third in the 100 backstroke.
In the boys meet, Rochester senior Jake Seuferer won both the 50 and 100 freestyles in 24.29 seconds and 52.10
seconds, respectively. Also, Spencer Backus won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.23.
Rochester will return to Maconaquah on Jan. 20 for the Three Rivers Conference meet.
