Seward to run at Mid-East Cross-Country Championships

The Indiana Association of Track and Cross-Country Coaches has selected Rochester senior Zoe Seward to run at the Mid-East Cross-Country Championships in Kettering, Ohio, at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The Mid-East Cross-Country Championships includes top striders from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Illinois.

Seward finished third at the Manchester sectional in 19:05, fourth at the Culver Academy regional in 19:12 and sixth at the New Prairie semistate in 19:04.

At the IHSAA state finals in Terre Haute on Oct. 29, she placed 51st in 19:27.

Seward is one of 12 runners who will represent Indiana.

A boys race will follow at 11:30 a.m.
