Sports postponements: Heat pushes back Rochester soccer games

The following area sporting events were postponed due to excessive heat.

Girls golf

• The four-way match between Rochester, North Miami, Manchester and host Southwood at Etna Acres Golf Course in Andrews was postponed.

• The Knox-Pioneer dual scheduled for Tuesday was canceled.

• The Pioneer-Lewis Cass dual has been moved up from Sept. 17 to Sept. 7. Start time is 9 a.m. at Logansport Golf Club.

Girls soccer

• The Rochester-Wabash game was rescheduled for Wednesday. Start time is 6 p.m. at Wabash.

• The Argos-Elkhart Christian game was rescheduled for Sept. 19. Game time is 5:30 p.m. at Elkhart Christian.

Boys soccer

• The LaVille-Rochester game was postponed to Wednesday. Start time is 5:30 p.m. at Brent Blacketor Memorial Sports Complex.

• The Caston-Tippecanoe Valley game scheduled for Tuesday has not been rescheduled.

• The Argos-Elkhart Christian game was rescheduled for Sept. 19. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Elkhart Christian.
