Sports postponements: Logansport softball tourney, Winamac track invite canceled

The following sporting events scheduled for Saturday were postponed due to rain:

Softball

• Rochester’s games at the Ron Kinnaman Classic at Logansport were canceled. Rochester was scheduled to play Maconaquah and Northridge, plus a third game later in the day. Games involving Logansport, Fishers and Lowell went on as scheduled.

• Tippecanoe Valley’s games against South Bend St. Joe and Mishawaka have not been rescheduled.

• The Caston-Peru doubleheader has not been rescheduled.

• The Washington Township-Culver game has not been rescheduled.

• The North Miami-Pioneer game has not been rescheduled.

Baseball

• The North Judson-Caston doubleheader has not been rescheduled.

• The Leo-North Miami game has not been rescheduled.

• The Triton-Pioneer doubleheader has not been rescheduled.

• The Dick Reese Classic at John Glenn has not been rescheduled. Valley was among the teams scheduled to participate. Tournament organizers say they plan on rescheduling the tournament.

Girls tennis

• The Plymouth Invitational was canceled. Valley was among the teams scheduled to participate.

Boys golf

• The Rochester JV Invitational was canceled. Rochester and Valley were among the teams scheduled to participate.

Track

• The Winamac Invitational was canceled. In addition to the host Warriors, Pioneer and Rochester were also scheduled to participate.
