Storm forces postponement of 3-way TRC girls golf match

Tippecanoe Valley/Maconaquah at Rochester, ppd.: The three-way girls golf match between Maconaquah, Tippecanoe Valley and Rochester scheduled for Tuesday at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek was postponed and rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Southwood, who was scheduled to play Valley at Mill Creek Thursday, will also take part.

The course was closed Tuesday due to damage from Monday’s thunderstorm.

Maconaquah is the reigning Three Rivers Conference champion, and sophomore Daisy Williams was last year’s conference medalist. Maconaquah also was a regional qualifier last year.

Four of Valley’s current players were members of their 2020 conference championship team. Led by their top three of Olivia Bailey, Payton Moore and Ava Thomas, Rochester shot a season-low 170 against Culver last Thursday.
