Stump’s viewing Sunday at TVHS, funeral Monday

Visitation for the late Brendyn Stump will be at Tippecanoe Valley High School Sunday, and his funeral will be Monday.

The visitation will occur from 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. on Sunday at TVHS.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Warsaw Community Church, 1855 S. County Farm Road.

Stump died May 17, two days after he was injured when the car he was driving crashed into a utility pole along Indiana 14 in Kosciusko County. He was 16.

Stump was a sophomore football, basketball and baseball player at Valley.

He had played in a baseball tournament at Culver Academy earlier Saturday. He went 3 for 5 in two games as Valley lost to Culver Academy but beat Westview.

Memorial donations in Stump’s memory may be directed to help fellow Valley student Dillon Prater with his medical expenses. Checks can be made out to Tippecanoe Valley High School, 8343 Indiana 19, Akron, IN 46910. In the memo line, please write “Medical Expense Fund for Dillon Prater.”
