Tippecanoe Valley 47, Wawasee 35 (Tuesday): Lily Ault scored 10 points, Gabby Gonzalez had nine, and Kelsey Cox had eight to lead a balanced Valley attack in a road win over Wawasee at the Hardwood Teepee Tuesday.

Macy Petersen, Molly Moriarty and Chesnee Miller added six points each.

Ault scored all of her points in the second half as Valley overcame an 18-16 deficit.

Valley led 35-19 after three quarters and then held Wawasee to one field goal in the fourth quarter.

Valley shooting guard and leading scorer Kaydence Mellott missed the game due to illness. Miller started in her place.

The Lady Vikings are 18-3 going into their regular season finale against Manchester at home Thursday. They are 5-0 in January.

This was the first meeting between Valley and Wawasee since Valley knocked Wawasee out of last year’s sectional.
