Tippecanoe Valley wrestlers Galvin Shambaugh, Brandon Hammer and Bazle Owens will be No. 1 seeds at the Plymouth sectional.
Shambaugh will be No. 1 at 120. Hammer won the Three Rivers Conference title at 182 last Saturday. Owens, a 2021 state qualifier whose only three losses are to Rochester’s Alex Deming, is No. 1 at 195.
Owens is ranked No. 19 in the state at 195, per the IndianaMat rankings dated Jan. 14. Shambaugh and Hammer are unranked.
Drake Montelongo is ranked No. 14 at 132. He is the No. 2 seed at the sectional behind Logan Stuckman of Wawasee. The sectional field at 132 also includes Culver’s Joe Callender, nthe Hoosier North champion.
Start time for the Plymouth sectional is 8 a.m. Saturday.
