Tippecanoe Valley 63, Knox 41 (Friday): Riley Shepherd knocked down four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 19 points for the host Vikings in a rout of sectional rival Knox Friday.
Ian Cooksey added 15, and Stephen Akase made all five of his free throws and scored 11.
Myles McLaughlin scored 12 points for Knox.
Already leading 34-14 at halftime, Valley extended the lead to 54-23 after three quarters.
Valley will host Class 3A, Sectional 18 from Feb. 27-March 2. Valley is 13-6 overall and 3-0 against sectional rivals.

Tippecanoe Valley 75, North Miami 35 (Tuesday): Ian Cooksey hit five 3-pointers and scored 23 points, Riley Shepherd added 17, and Stephen Akase added 14 for the Valley boys basketball team in a home win over North Miami Tuesday.
Cooksey had 18 points in the first half, helping Valley to a 44-20 halftime lead.
Jake Riley had 13 points for the Warriors.
Valley improved to 12-6. North Miami dropped to 2-15.
Valley has not lost to North Miami in 13 years.

Tippecanoe Valley 47, Western 22 (Feb. 1): Kyler Johnson scored 14 points, and Davis Cowan knocked down three 3-pointers and had 11 points for the visiting Vikings in a win over Western on Feb. 1.
Stephen Akase added eight points.
Johnson outscored the entire Western team 10-9 in the first half as Valley built a 16-point halftime lead.
The 22 points were the fewest Valley has allowed in Joe Luce’s two years as coach and the fewest Valley has allowed since a 53-17 win over North Miami in February 2021.
Western, who is coached by former Winamac coach Cameron Bennington, fell to 4-13. The 22 points tied their season low.
