The Tippecanoe Valley Football Alumni, known as the RSKA Boosters, will host a fundraiser at both the high school and the Akron Community Center on June 7.
The event will start at 6 p.m. at the high school. The new facilities at the school will be shown to alumni, including changes to Smith-Bibler Memorial Field, Home of Death Valley Football; the Scott Bibler Memorial Pressbox; the concession stand; the football locker rooms and coaches office; the weight room, where an active session of the Viking Strong program might take place; and the Jeff Shriver Viking Room.
The fundraiser will continue from 7-9 p.m. at the Akron Community Center for “food and fellowship” and will include guest speakers, a meal, “Valley swag upon entering,” a silent auction, raffles and films.
A “meal/swag package” costs $35 and includes food, a vial of dirt from Death Valley and a t-shirt. Beer will be available for an additional charge.
Only Death Valley Football Alumni may attend.
RSKA Boosters is a new organization working to support Valley football.
