Wise leads with 24; Miller, Bussard, Stookey also score in double figures

Tippecanoe Valley 72, DeMotte Christian 42 (Saturday): Hadley Wise scored a game-high 24 points to lead four Valley players in double figures in a road win over DeMotte Christian Saturday.
Wise hit four 3-pointers – one in each quarter – and Valley made nine treys as a team.
Savana Miller and Dalynne Bussard added 11 each, and Hailey Stookey had 10. Nine different Valley players scored.
The 72 points were the most for Valley in a game in the Rebekah Parker era as coach.
Valley led 33-23 at halftime and then outscored DeMotte Christian 18-2 in the third quarter to push the lead to 26.
Valley improved to 15-5. They are 7-1 in their last eight games with the lone loss to Class 4A, No. 4 Warsaw. The Lady Knights have lost six of their last seven and dropped to 6-12.

Warsaw 55, Tippecanoe Valley 32 (Thursday): Gaby Gonzalez scored 12 points, and Hadley Wise added 10 for the host Lady Vikings in a loss to Class 4A, No. 4 Warsaw Thursday. Dalynne Bussard added seven, all in the first half. Savana Miller hit a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter.
Brooke Zartman hit five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 23 for Warsaw. Joslyn Bricker added 10.Â
Zartman is a Miami (Ohio) commit. Bricker is a Butler commit. Both were Indiana Junior All-Stars last year.
Warsaw led 28-19 at halftime and extended their lead to 42-25 at halftime.
Valley has lost their last six meetings with the Lady Tigers.
