Valley girls tennis beats Wabash in rain-shortened match

Girls tennis

Tippecanoe Valley 5, Wabash 0 (May 12): The Valley girls tennis team recorded a Three Rivers Conference home win over Wabash on May 12 in a match that was called due to rain.

Valley’s Lily Ault and Ella Sandbakken won their match at No. 1 doubles 6-0, 6-0. Valley was leading the other four matches when the rain started.

Singles players, Karegan Callahan, Lydia Miller and Talia Holder each won the first set of their matches as did No. 2 doubles team Kylee Trepanier and Madelyn Weaver. Valley players were also leading in the second set at the time of the rain.

RESULTS: VALLEY 5, WABASH 0
