Valley girls tennis sweeps Marion, improves to 13-1

Girls tennis
Tippecanoe Valley 5, Marion 0 (Monday): Valley swept all five matches against visiting Marion Monday to improve to 13-1.
Karegan Callahan pulled out a 7-5, 6-1 win over Ava Marroni at No. 1 singles, and freshmen Savana Miller and Bella Parker won 6-0, 6-0 routs at Nos. 2 and 3 singles, respectively.
Karley Hallstrom and Maci Parker won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
The only Valley entry to drop a set was Sarah Finney and Ella Sandbakken at No. 1 doubles, but they rallied to beat Abigail Ndow and Ivyla Hubert 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Valley also won the JV match 8-0. They lost just seven games total in the eight matches.
