Tippecanoe Valley 20, Plymouth 8 (JV, Saturday): Ian Young threw a touchdown pass to Ryne Thiessen, and Hunter Clyde and Grant Paxton each had interception returns for touchdowns for host Valley in a JV win over Plymouth Saturday.
Young threw a 13-yard scoring pass to Thiessen with 38 seconds left in the first quarter to open the scoring. Clyde’s 73-yard interception return and Paxton’s 20-yard interception return came 57 seconds apart in the second quarter as the lead swelled to 20-0.
Mason Miller led Valley with 89 yards rushing. Dane Scacco also had two receptions.
The Valley JV (1-0) will host Rochester at 6 p.m. Sept. 2.
