Valley’s Smith signs with Anderson University

Tippecanoe Valley senior Madi Smith signed Tuesday to continue her softball and academic careers at Anderson University. Smith, a catcher, hit .379 with 13 extra-base hits and 17 RBIs in the spring of 2022, helping lead Valley to an 18-8 overall record and a 7-2 mark in Three Rivers Conference play. Anderson is an NCAA Division III school. Coached by Tony Holloway, Anderson went 7-27 in the spring of 2022. Smith said she will major in physical therapy.
