Tippecanoe Valley senior Jonathan Ruiz signed with Huntington University Wednesday to continue his soccer and academic careers.
Ruiz scored 27 goals and added 18 assists for Valley in the fall. He had 46 goals and 26 assists in three varsity seasons.
He was the RTC Player of the Year in 2022.
Ruiz had four hat tricks last season, including a hat trick in a 3-1 over Wabash in a sectional quarterfinal on Oct. 3.
Valley doubled their win total from 2021 (seven) to 2022 (14).
Russ Lawson has been the Huntington coach since 2000. Huntington went 13-6-1 last season.
