Valley takes 3rd at Plymouth Invite

The Tippecanoe Valley girls golf team shot a 380 and finished third out of 10 teams at the Plymouth Invitational at Pretty Lake Golf Club Aug. 3.

Madelyn Weaver shot an 89 to lead Valley. She placed fifth among individuals.

Kaydence Mellott and Molly Moriarty each had 96s and tied for ninth among individuals. Lily Ault added a 99, and Cheney Canada had a 111.

John Glenn won the tournament with a 375. The host Lady Pilgrims were second with a 378.

John Glenn’s Megan Kobelt shot a 77 to claim medalist honors.
