Lewis Cass sweeps Caston; Pioneer beats Knox, LaVille to go to 3-0 in conference

Tippecanoe Valley def. North Miami, 25-11, 25-15, 25-9 (Tuesday): The visiting Lady Vikings improved to 4-0 in the Three Rivers Conference with a road win over North Miami Tuesday.
Lewis Cass def. Caston, 25-17, 25-19, 25-18 (Tuesday): Maddi Smith and Kinzie Mollenkopf had five points each for Caston in a home loss to Lewis Cass Tuesday.
Rebekah Milburn led in assists, Layne Oliver and Smith led in kills, Isabel Scales and Abby Williamson led in blocks, and Addison Zimpleman led in digs, according to coach Melinda Shultz.
Lewis Cass also won the JV match 22-25, 25-16, 15-11. Macee Hinderlider had 16 points. Annie Harsh led the team in assists, Ali Paul and Alexa Finke led the team in kills, and Haley Logan and Jules Sherrick led the team in digs, according to Shultz.
Pioneer def. Knox, 25-9, 25-14, 25-9 (Tuesday): Pioneer improved to 11-2 overall and 3-0 in the Hoosier North with a road win over Knox Tuesday.
Pioneer def. LaVille, 25-15, 27-25, 25-13 (Saturday): Pioneer improved to 10-2 overall and 2-0 in the Hoosier North with a win over visiting LaVille Saturday.
Valley def. Maconaquah, 13-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-12 (Sept. 3): Bree Sheetz and Delaney Wagoner had 11 kills each as the host Lady Vikings beat defending TRC champs Maconaquah Sept. 3.
Brayden Baney had 35 digs. Hannah Engstrand had 36 assists. Hayley Backus had nine kills and two blocks.
Valley also won the JV match 25-15, 25-22.
