Valley wrestling drops dual to Peru

Valley boys basketball adds game with Fort Wayne Luers

Wrestling

Peru 53, Tippecanoe Valley 30 (Wednesday): Drake Montelongo, Brandon Hammer, Bazle Owens, Dalton Alber and Ian Becker all recorded falls for Valley in a dual loss at Peru Wednesday.

Cameron Mason won a JV match by fall.

Valley travels to the Maconaquah Invitational Saturday morning.

Boys basketball

Valley adds Fort Wayne Luers: The Valley boys basketball team will host Fort Wayne Luers at 6:15 p.m./7:45 p.m. (JV/Varsity) Dec. 19.

This gives Valley a 22-game schedule. The Warsaw game that was postponed on Nov. 25 has not been rescheduled.

Valley will play home games against Whitko, Fort Wayne Luers, Culver and Oregon-Davis in a six-day span from Dec. 18-23.

Whitko 25, TVMS 22 (8th grade, Nov. 24)

TVMS 39, Whitko 22 (7th grade, Nov. 24)

Tristyn Ragon scored nine points for the TVMS eighth-graders (0-5) in a loss to Whitko Nov. 24. Oliver Trigg had a team-high six rebounds.

In the seventh grade game, TVMS (3-2) prevailed behind Cale Dewees and Wes Parker, each of whom scored eight points. Grady Moriarty and Isiah Ault had five rebounds each.
