Wagner named D3 Preseason All-American

Trine University junior guard Sidney Wagner has been named a D3hoops.com Women’s Basketball Preseason Second Team All-American.

Wagner was First-Team All-Region and the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association in 2022-23 as a sophomore, when she averaged 14.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.2 steals per game.

She shot 49.4 percent from the field and 37.4 percent from 3-point range.

Trine went 23-7 last year.

Wagner is a 2021 Tippecanoe Valley grad.
