Wagner named Player of the Week

The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association named Trine University’s Sidney Wagner its Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 2.

Wagner averaged 16.5 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists per game while shooting 54.1% from the field in wins over Calvin and Albion.

Trine is currently ranked No. 20 nationally in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Division III poll.

Wagner is a 2021 Tippecanoe Valley grad.
