Wagner named USBWA National Player of the Week

Trine University sophomore guard Sidney Wagner was named the United States
Basketball Writers Association Division III National Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 12.
Wagner hit three 3-pointers and scored a career-high 29 points in Trine’s 76-64 win over Hope College on Dec. 17.
She made 11 of 17 field goal attempts, grabbed four rebounds, dished out six assists and had one steal and one blocked shot.
This marks the first time a Trine player has ever won this award.
Wagner leads Trine in scoring at 12.5 points per game.
Wagner is a 2021 Valley grad.
