Wagner nets hat trick in home finale, leads Rochester past Valley

Girls soccer

Rochester 4, Tippecanoe Valley 0 (Thursday): Audrey Wagner scored three goals, and Taylor Navara also scored and dished out an assist as the Rochester girls soccer team blanked Tippecanoe Valley 4-0 at the Brent Blacketor Memorial Sports Complex Thursday.

Lakodah Clevenger and Bria Rensberger each had an assist.

Makhia Harding stopped one shot for a shutout in goal.

Rochester finished the regular season 2-8-3.

Valley finished their regular season 0-12. They scored three goals in the 12 games.

Rochester will play Oregon-Davis at 7 p.m. tonight in a Class 1A, Sectional 36 quarterfinal at Argos.

Valley will play Plymouth in a Class 2A, Sectional 21 semifinal at NorthWood at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
