Warner gets 2 hits for Caston in loss to SB Riley

South Bend Riley 15, Caton 1 (5 innings, April 13): Natalie Warner singled and doubled and scored Caston’s only run in a home loss to South Bend Riley April 13.

Abigail Apperson had a hit and the lone RBI.

Lexie Field walked twice, and Avery Baldwin drew a walk.

Warner took the loss in the circle, allowing seven hits and eight runs (five earned) in one inning. She walked none, hit two batters and struck out two. 

Mia Mersch pitched the final four innings and allowed six hits and seven runs (one earned). She walked three and fanned one.

South Bend Riley scored in all five innings.

Caston had five errors while South Bend Riley had none.
