Tippecanoe Valley 21, Knox 18 (Friday): Owen Omondi caught a touchdown pass, returned a kickoff for a touchdown, had an interception on defense, ran for a two-point conversion and kicked an extra point for the visiting Vikings in an Indiana Northern State Conference road win over Knox Friday.

Omondi also had a 49=yard punt.

Hunter Paxton ran 16 times for 83 yards, including the go-ahead 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Valley (3-1, 1-0 INSC) won despite committing eight penalties for 75 yards and going just one for seven on third down conversions. Knox also had a 185-141 advantage in rushing yards.

Paxton also had an interception.

Mason Miller, Charlie Moriarty and Ty Kiser led the defense with 11 tackles each.

Jaydin Fisher ran for 121 yards and a touchdown for Knox (0-4, 0-1), who led 12-6 at halftime and extended the lead to 18-6 in the third quarter.

Pioneer 35, Caston 7 (Friday): Shiloh Rine caught five passes for 191 yards and four touchdowns and also ran for 75 yards for the Class 1A, No. 2 Panthers in a Hoosier North road win over Caston Friday.

Colten Long ran for 56 yards on 10 carries, and Phillip McFatridge had eight carries for 32 yards for Pioneer (4-0, 2-0 Hoosier North).

Colton Popejoy completed eight of 14 passes for 215 yards and four touchdowns with one interception.

Long also led the Pioneer defense with 15 tackles, including 1.5 for loss. Wyatt Wiles had nine tackles, Mikaden Tolosa and Rine had eight each, and McFatridge and Chase VanMeter had seven each.

Ashton Bowyer led Caston with 55 yards rushing on 15 carries and a touchdown. He also lost a fumble. London Herd had 12 carries for 24 yards and two receptions for 23 yards and also had an interception on defense.

Logan Mollenkopf completed three of seven passes for 46 yards. Landen Rigney had a 23-yard reception.

Bowyer led the defense with nine tackles. Jake Farrer had six tackles, and Herd had five. Bronson Howard and Parker Zimpleman had four tackles each. Howard and Gage Minniear each had a pass defended.

Pioneer led 21-7 at halftime.

Pioneer defeated Caston for the 37th consecutive meeting. Caston has not beaten Pioneer since 1996.

Caston was trying for their first 4-0 start since 1974.

Winamac 32, Culver 14 (Friday): Louis Rugg III ran for 227 yards and three touchdowns, and Ivan Cardenas ran for 86 yards and two touchdowns on four carries for the host Warriors in a Hoosier North win over Culver at Roudebush Field Friday.

Tearson Wolford added 11 carries for 48 yards, and he also caught a 15-yard pass from Xavier Adriano.

Wolford led the defense with 13 tackles, and Michael Shidler had 12.

Winamac led 20-7 at halftime.

North Judson 46, North Miami 0 (Friday): The visiting Warriors lost to Class 1A, No. 3 North Judson at Liberty Field Friday.

North Judson had 341 yards of total offense.

North Miami has never beaten North Judson.
