Tippecanoe Valley 43, Woodlan 0 (Friday): Hunter Paxton ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns, and Hunter Randall ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns for the host Vikings in a rout of Woodlan Friday.

Owen Omondi added five carries for 88 yards and a touchdown as well as three receptions for 14 yards. Omondi also scored three two-point conversions – one rushing and two receiving.

Zander Ioannou also ran for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Braxton Alderfer kicked an extra point.

Valley had a 421-16 advantage in rushing yards and had possession for 31:17 as compared to Woodlan’s 16:43.

Valley limited Woodlan to two first downs and 48 yards of total offense. The shutout was the 14th in coach Stephen Moriarty’s 10 years as coach.

Valley led 30-0 at halftime.

Caston 40, Triton 8 (Friday): Ashton Bowyer ran for 94 yards and two touchdows and Logan Mollenkopf threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns for the host Comets as they won their third straight game and improved to 6-1 for the first time in school history.

London Herd ran for 38 yards and a touchdown and also caught two passes for 32 yards. Mollenkopf ran for 36 yards. Cayman Brown ran for 18 yards and a touchdown.

Landen Rigney had two receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown and added 26 yards rushing. Brayden Unger had a 44-yard touchdown reception. Braxton Enyart added a 27-yard reception.

Tucker Woolever had seven tackles to lead the defense. Bowyer had four, and Rigney, Unger, Herd, Cameron McFatridge and Parker Zimpleman had three each. Mollenkopf broke up two passes, and Rigney also had a pass defended.

Caston beat Triton for the first time since 2016. They had lost the previous 11 meetings.

Caston led 21-0 at halftime.

Pioneer 62, Culver 14 (Friday): Shiloh Rine ran for two touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass, and Archie Blickenstaff and Blu Rosen-Jacks both returned interceptions for touchdowns in the first quarter as the Class 1A, No. 2 Panthers routed Culver Friday.

Phillip McFatridge had a 52-yard touchdown reception from Colton Popejoy and a 59-yard touchdown run. Popejoy went 4 for 4 for 139 yards and two touchdowns passing.

Colten Long had a 61-yard touchdown run. Rosen-Jacks also had his first career touchdown on a 6-yard run.

John Carr had a 2-yard touchdown run in the second half, and Zac Zehner threw a 28-yard touchdown pass on the final play from scrimmage for Culver.

Pioneer beat Culver for the fourth straight year. Pioneer led 62-0 at halftime.

North Judson 35, Winamac 0 (Friday): The Class 1A, No. 3 North Judson defense held Winamac to 33 yards of offense in posting a shutout Friday.

Tearson Wolford led the Winamac ground attack with 13 yards.

Michael Shidler and Lucas Perez had seven tackles each to lead the defense. Wolford had six tackles, and Parker Abbott had five.

North Judson (7-0, 5-0 Hoosier North) led 28-0 at halftime.

Bryant Galbreath started his first game at quarterback at Winamac for the injured Xavier Adriano.

North Miami 47, South Central (Union Mills) 0 (Friday): North Miami snapped a four-game losing streak and improved to 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the Hoosier North with a home win over South Central Friday.

South Central is 0-7, 0-5.
