Winamac boys basketball roundup: Warriors sweep O-D, Judson, now 5-1 in Hoosier North

Boys basketball

Winamac 60, Oregon-Davis 27 (Saturday): Will Malchow scored a game-high 13 points, and Parker Zeider added a career-high 11 for the Warriors in a Hoosier North road win over Oregon-Davis at the Bobcat Den Saturday.

Brendan Hines and Jaybin Hines added 10 each.

Winamac led 27-14 at halftime and extended the lead to 47-22 after three quarters.

Zeider hit three of Winamac’s five 3-pointers.

Winamac is 8-5 overall and 5-1 in the Hoosier North. Triton (4-0) and Caston (1-0) are the only undefeated teams in conference play.

Oregon-Davis dropped to 0-12, 0-5.

Winamac travels to Caston Friday.

Winamac 43, North Judson 30 (Friday): Will Malchow scored seven of his game-high 13 points in the fourth quarter, and Brendan Hines added 11 for the visiting Warriors in a conference win over North Judson Friday.

Ethan Burgess hit two 3-pointers and scored nine points, and Justin Potthoff added eight.

Winamac (7-5 overall, 4-1 Hoosier North) led 22-16 at halftime and extended the lead to 32-24 after three quarters.

Kole Wilcox had eight points for the Blue Jays (4-5, 1-1).

Winamac has won 10 of the last 12 meetings against North Judson.
