Winamac’s Good, Pioneer’s Smith top seeds at Twin Lakes sectional

Two RTC area wrestlers will be No. 1 seeds at the Twin Lakes sectional.

Winamac’s Caleb Good will be the No. 1 seed at 170. Pioneer’s Logan Smith will be the No. 1 seed at 182.

Both wrestlers won individual titles at the Hoosier North tournament at Triton last Saturday.

Though Winamac won the team title at the Hoosier North tournament and had six individual champions, Good was the only Winamac wrestler to garner a No. 1 seed from the coaches meeting.

Smith is 23-0 on the season. He won both of his Hoosier North matches by fall.

Start time for the Twin Lakes sectional is 8 a.m. this Saturday. The top four wrestlers in each weight class advance to the Logansport regional on Feb. 5.
