Zebras drop only 4 games in sweeping Whitko, gaining first TRC win

Rochester 5, Whitko 0: Tanner Reinartz, Robert Bozzo and Ashton Musselman each won singles matches in straight sets, and Wade Bowers and Harrison Dunwoody won their No. 1 doubles match in straight sets for the Rochester boys tennis team in a conference win over visiting Whitko Wednesday.

Rochester won the No. 2 doubles match by forfeit as Whitko had only five players.

Rochester lost only four games total in the four matches that were played to completion.

Reinartz and Musselman each won 6-0, 6-0, and Bozzo won 6-1, 6-1. Bowers and Dunwoody won 6-0, 6-2.

Rochester improved to 7-4 overall and 1-4 in the Three Rivers Conference. The Zebras will host Maconaquah at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
