Zimpleman has 3 RBIs, Caston takes advantage of wild Triton in road win

Caston 11, Triton 7 (April 10): Parker Zimpleman had three RBIs, including the go-ahead RBI on a bases-loaded walk as part of a nine-run sixth, for the Comets in a Hoosier North road win over Triton April 10.
Eli Holloway had two hits and an RBI, and Tucker Woolever, Lucius Edson, Gavin Mollenkopf, London Herd and Zimpleman had one hit each as part of a seven-hit Caston attack.
Woolever had two RBIs, and Gavin Mollenkopf and Brodie Howard had one RBI each.
Logan Mollenkopf pitched the first six innings for the win, allowing 11 hits and seven runs (all earned) while walking four and fanning seven. Howard retired the side in order with two strikeouts in the seventh.
Triton pitchers walked 10 and hit three batters. They walked six and hit a batter in the sixth inning alone, when Caston turned a 5-2 deficit into an 11-5 lead.
Zimpleman’s walk gave Caston a 6-5 lead, and Howard followed with another walk to make it 7-5. When Carson Harness reached on an error, the lead was three.
Triton had five errors while Caston had just one.
