Girls basketball
Caston 51, Lewis Cass 27 (Nov. 29): Addison Zimpleman scored 22 points, grabbed four
rebounds and had six steals, and Isabel Scales added 18 points, five rebounds and five steals for the Caston girls basketball team in a home win over Lewis Cass in a Cass County Invitational semifinal on Nov. 29.
Caston will play either Pioneer or Logansport in the title game.
Caston led 14-8 after one quarter and extended the lead to 33-16 at halftime.
Zimpleman, Scales and Annie Harsh combined to make eight 3-pointers.
Class 1A, No. 4 Caston improved to 8-0.
