Caston 60, Frontier 43 (Tuesday): Logan Mollenkopf scored a game-high 26 points, and Lane Hook added 16 for the host Comets in a win over Frontier Tuesday.
Mollenkopf scored 12 of Caston’s 15 points in the first quarter. Hook had 12 points in the second half.
Reed Sommers and Carson Harness added nine points each. Sommers had a pair of 3-point plays in the second quarter and scored as many points as the entire Frontier team (eight) in that quarter.
Caston won their third straight game and improved to 9-2. Chase Winkler had 22 points for the Falcons, who dropped to 6-5.
Caston led 34-23 at halftime and maintained a 45-34 lead after three quarters.
Caston broke a four-game losing streak against Frontier and beat them for the first time since December 2021.
