Winamac 51, Triton 37 (Tuesday): Kandace Kroft hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead three players in double figures as Winamac claimed a Hoosier North road win Tuesday.
Sadie Popejoy added 14 points, including nine in the second half. Marissa Iverson had nine of her 13 in the fourth quarter, and she added 13 rebounds for a double-double.
Already leading 26-19 at halftime, Winamac held Triton to one field goal in the third quarter and expanded its lead to 35-22 going into the fourth.
Winamac made 15 of 20 free throws while Triton was just 6 for 18.
Winamac improved to 13-6 overall and 3-2 in the Hoosier North. Their next three games are conference home games against Oregon-Davis, North Judson and Pioneer.
Mylie Groves had 17 points for Triton, who fell to 6-11, 2-3.
