Caston to visit North Judson tonight; LaVille game moved to Jan. 28

Girls basketball

The Caston girls basketball team’s game against North Judson, which was originally scheduled for Dec. 10 but postponed, has been rescheduled for tonight. Game time is 6:30 p.m./8 p.m. (JV/Varsity) at North Judson.

The Lady Jays are 6-4 and ranked No. 16 in Class 2A. They have wins over Class 4A teams Portage and Chesterton.

Caston is coming off a Miami County Invitational title game win over Maconaquah.

Also, Caston’s game with LaVille originally scheduled for Saturday has been postponed. The makeup date is 6 p.m./7:30 p.m. (JV/Varsity) Jan. 28 at LaVille.

LaVille’s scheduled game with Argos that night has been canceled.

Wrestling

Caston to travel to Culver: The Caston-Culver wrestling dual that was postponed on Dec. 15 has been rescheduled for tonight. Start time is 5:30 p.m.
