Girls basketball

Covenant Christian (DeMotte) 53, Culver 40 (Monday): Maddie Shedrow scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds, but the visiting Lady Cavaliers lost to Covenant Christian Monday. Baleigh Binkley added seven points, and Grace Sievber and Kenzie Banks had six each.

Shedrow and Sieber hit two 3-pointers each.

Culver committed 26 turnovers.

Sydnie Bakker led Covenant Christian with 14 points.

Covenant Christian led 23-20 at halftime and extended the lead to 43-29 after three quarters.
