Bennett scores 10, but Warriors fall to sectional rival Lewis Cass

Delphi at Winamac, ppd.: The Delphi-Winamac boys basketball game scheduled for Tuesday was postponed to Thursday due to inclement weather. Game time is 6 p.m./7:30 p.m. (JV/Varsity) at Winamac.
Lewis Cass 48, Winamac 41 (Saturday): Carson Bennett scored 10 points, but Winamac lost on the road to sectional rival Lewis Cass Saturday.
Beau Brandt added nine points, and Ryan Gregor had eight.
Tyson Good scored a game-high 18 for Lewis Cass. The Kings won despite making just seven of 18 free throws.
Winamac led 23-21 at halftime, but Lewis Cass outscored the Warriors 14-5 in the third quarter.
This was the teams’ first meeting since Winamac knocked off Lewis Cass 88-74 in last year’s sectional quarterfinals.

North White led 37-23 at halftime.
North White beat Winamac for the second straight year.
